Spirit of Failure + Distortion
How do the calculations work if I cast Spirit of Failure on a foe and then use Distortion? Is it worth using both together or should I drop one?

I'd drop one. Spirit of failure will probably trigger on the 25% of "misses" that go through _after_ distortion. Of course, you'd have to test this assumption.

Spirit of Failure (and Price of Failure... and anything else that gives you something when an opponent misses) will trigger regardless of what "caused" the miss.
Back in the day when Distortion was a Mantra that you could keep up indefinitely (or at least I think it was indefinitely) it was one helluva combo with Spirit of Failure (it cost you energy to cause missing, but you gained energy whenever your opponent missed ). Distortion got whacked with a big fat nerf stick though so now it only lasts 5 seconds. Ditch it. |

What I'm asking is what the calculations come out to. Is the chance that the targeted enemy will miss me 80%, 90%, 95%?
